A polymer consists of chains of different lengths, therefore the length of the polymer chain determines the melt flow characteristics. Since it is difficult to accurately control the chain length in the polymerization process, it is the chain length distribution or actually the molecular weight distribution of the polymer that affects the melt flow properties.
The higher the MFR value, that is, during the fixed time (10 minutes), more amount of plastic flows at the test temperature, that is, the resistance to flow of the polymer or plastic is lower and it flows more easily, the flow resistance is We know a concept called viscosity.
